The National Terrazzo and Mosaic Association (NTMA) defines this traditional
material as follows: "Terrazzo consists of marble, granite, onyx or glass chips in portland
cement, modified portland cement or resinous matrix." The terrazzo is poured, cured, ground
and polished and is typically used as a finish for floors, stairs or walls.
We can install these types of terrazzo:
Thin-Set Epoxy Terrazzo
Thin-Set Cement Base
Sand Bed Systems
The life cycle of terrazzo is 40+ years with easy care and maintenance.
In 1998 we installed over 5,000 sq.ft. of epoxy terrazzo at the San Diego
International Airport as these pictures illustrate:

With a wide range of color chips, the color and design possibilities are endless!
